The "Convert / Clip check" tab of PatchTool Gamut Tools can be used to convert color lists between profiles, compare the gamut volume of profiles, and check if a color list is within the gamut of a Destination profile (Clip check). The Source and Destination profiles can be either a standard built-in RGB profile, or a user-selected RGB or CMYK profile. The Convert output is in the form of a CGATS compatible file; the Clip check output is in the form of a PatchTool Compare file. You can get a profile color gamut volume with three methods: the PatchTool legacy method which was the only method available prior to PatchTool Version 7.1, and the “device” and “usable” methods of ISO 18621-11:2019.The PatchTool Help manual contains a detailed description of the Convert and Clip check workflows. The next screenshot page shows the "List gen." tab.
